Outback Trooper 2-Burner Modern Classic Gas Barbecue - with cool touch wooden hood handle.

Trooper is a Modern Classic style barbecue and comes with wood shelves and wheeled trolley (wood from managed forests - an FSC approved sustainable source).

Outback Trooper barbecue features incude : a primary cooking area of 47.5 x 42cm, swing away warming rack, Integra-spark rotary ignition for easy starting, 2 porcelain-coated cast iron grills, easy clean drip tray and removable nylon screen.

2 stainless steel gas burners, with flavouriser bars (not lava rock). Flavouriser bars reduce cooking flare-ups, they sit above the burners and under the grill top. Juices and fat from cooking foods drip onto the flavouriser bars, then vaporise into smoke that flavours your food.

The one piece porcelain-enamelled roasting hood with temperature gauge, is corrosion and acid resistant, heat and flame proof so won't blister under high temperatures. It is easy to clean and is ideal for roasting, grilling or even baking.

Outback hooded models are so versatile, once you have finished cooking, you can turn off the barbecue and pull down the hood and the food sitting on the grills and griddles will keep warm for a good 30 minutes afterwards. You may also be interested in an optional extras - a battery operated rotisserie for larger pieces of meat. Also a smoker box may also be used with hooded barbecues, to enhance the flavour of meat with the use of herbs or wood chips.
