Outback Comet Sear - Gas Barbecue - New model for 2012 - Stainless Steel Barbecue and Cart.

Comet Sear features the Outback 'Instant Sear' side burner. The sear burner provides instant heat at the touch of the Comet Sear ignition switch, this enables you to seal-in all your meat flavours. Also provides a 'criss cross' effect, a crunchy exterior and soft inside. Maximum, red-hot heat is reached after 2 minutes, after which your steak can be turned 90 degrees for the 'charcoaled' effect. Then placed on the main grill for the desired finish.

With a primary cooking area of 68.5 x 44.5 cm the Outback Comet Sear stainless steel barbecue is a great family or party sized barbecue for your garden or patio. In addition to the 'Instant Sear' side burner there are 4 stainless steel propane gas burners with flavouriser bars (not lava rock). Electronic ignition, porcelain-coated grill, warming rack and easy clean powder coated side table. Plus the versatile stainless roasting hood with temperature gauge, which may be used for cooking with the hood down for grilling, baking or roasting barbecued food to perfection.

Available as an optional extra : a smoker box may also be used with hooded barbecues, to enhance the flavour of meat with the use of herbs or a variety of flavoured wood chips.
